A WARM HELLO!
Welcome to the HUMMER family.
I would love to see the truck... As Trey mentioned I had two events to make a NYHC {NEW YORK HUMMER
CLUB}.. Let me know where in NY you are located.. Even though its winter another "gathering " would be nice...
I am trying to incorporate HUMMER events with other GM HUMMER concepts ... HUMMER for hunger...:
Are you going to off road your truck.... Maybe we can meet and drive to Trey one day...?

welcome. and just my 2 cents, you can ignore me like everyone else does, but putting a snorkel on an H2 is like putting lipstick on a pig. there's absolutely no point. you're just asking to be harassed. the H2 can't ford more than about 24" of water, and the intake is about 45" above the ground, so a snorkel is just a waste of money. but, it's your money and your truck, so if that is what rows your boat - enjoy. enjoy the forum . . . . .
Warm welcome. Since you did not provide us the year of your used H2, I would be unable to answer your question regarding recalls and My GMLink data.
Thanks HummerGuy for the backup.

electronics. if it was just the intake that was at issue, the H2 could ford almost 4' of water, since the intake is at the top of the passenger side fender. as long as you keep moving and don't stop, you can ford deeper water for a relatively short distance, but the longer you keep it in water above 2' the greater chance you have of damage - and i'm not talking about wet carpet.

there may be a way to seal the electronics, but then you have to worry about the tranny breather tube. it's hard to say if the cabin can be completely waterproofed. I've been through water above the bottom of the doors and had no leakage, but i never stopped in the water.i just don't know that there's any way to actually make the H2 as water worthy as an H1, hell even an H3 has a better fording depth than an H2.
