My H3 07 has the 6 disc that came with it.
My Cousin's H3 08 has the regular one, we found the 6 disc at ebay and got it for $75.

Now the thing is that we've been told that these kind of replacements needs to be done by Hummer agencies, because of the VIN number or something.

Does anyone know any info about this? if we can do by ourselves or have to go with them, they told us they charge $200 just for doing it.

any ideas?

 

I recently installed a 6 disc changer that I bought on ebay that was a take out of a 07 h3. You have to go the GM dealer to get it programed or it will not work. $200 seem a little too much, i got mine installed and programed for $90.

 

What supertramp refers to is get the security code released. The car thinks the radio has been stolen.
I pais $75 to clear my NAV/CD/Radio.
