I have a Volant CAI. The tube is only long enough to connect to the inlet of the resonator. Has anyone extended the tube of the Volant and removed the resonator like is done w/the AirDoc system?

I've heard of some volant intakes keeping the resonator, but haven't seen one. That doesn't make sense to leave it in. do you have the correct volant kit for your year? The volant I had for my 2006 removed the resonator. volant has very good customer service....i would definitely contact their tech dept, they will give you all the info you need. Good luck.

Thanks jayhawkhummer. This is perfect! jayhawkhummer, did you look into using a plastic pipe as opposed to metal pipe? The reason I ask is b/c I've heard the metal can retain heat so the plastic is better. But I'm sure that is just in theory and it's not really noticable.
