Hey guys so I just got a private msg.. saying it was from Admin... but actually came from a "superboy" I believe junior member. It said it detected a virus threat from my profile to this site. And wanted me to click on an address to check for the virus, and if it didn't pass, I would be deleted from this website. So, I tried to click on it, and my Norton blocked it immediatly! Saying the link was a THREAT. So I deleted it immediatly. Just a warning for you guys, if you get a private msg.

I got the message and identified it as a fake. There is no way some third party message board is spotting a virus on my home machine, let alone the fact that it's a Mac. I replied to the note, told him he was not too bright. His message box is full so must be a few other members told him where to go.

I got the same but realized it was bogus when the sender claiming to be admin was a junior member. some punk with nothing better to do

 

I got it as well today,, such bull**** really ! Probably from some Hummer hating Jeep owner lol
