Default Vent Solenoid

Can anyone tell me where this part is? I have a code that says it is my problem. Had check engine light on for a few days now. Dealership wants $499 to replace. Think I can do it myself, but cant find it.

Ask them for a part number so I can get you correct info, also did you look into its availability?

Just do yourself a favor and click the ignore button for drtom, about the only thing he knows how to do is spell like a 5 year old and make ignorant comments usually about nothing even remotely related to the original post.
There are a few solenoids, if they gave you any paperwork it should let you know which one.

Default tal; always so sweet

best answer yet based on orig ifno gvin

hint;elect component locator, figure 21 in MY DOWNLOAD manual
btw, the manuals iv bought and paid for legally say they are not to be reproduced in any form, copyright law. i get careful about reprinting info when it may actually,in reality, may be ,in fact, a violation of law.

i would not either, offer copies of what i purchased legally, for sale to others, which it would be easy to guess,a violation of law,as would be receiving stolen goods.

im just sayin. buy the daxm manul, legally like i did so you too can be helpful, and not just a bichin beggar!

oh tal,pls do ignore my always accurate,no guess stuff.

oh btw tal, how did this relate to the original,,,,!! ha ha
