uuuuuummmmmmmmmmm?????????
I've been told this is the last standing pedestal light in the US.. The village has tried to take it down a couple of times, but everyone gets in an uproar and it's still there. It's right in the middle of my village
It's really cute
My hometown is the birthplace of President Rutherford B. Hayes. Before everyone started caring about the historical value in anything they tore down his birth/childhood home and a Gas Station now sits there.[&o]All that is left is a Headstone/memorial in front of it and the High School is named after him. Very Sad, you can never get that stuff back.
Yeah. That was one of the things I loved about this place. Where I was born, it's a military town, more like a city, so congested, people everywhere, yet you don't know anyone, here, you know everyone, and neighbor still looks out for neighbor... it's a great place to raise kids... no crime to speak of... just wish the Amish would clean up after their horses... nothing worse than a fresh pile after washing the truck... I love mud, but not that kind..hahahah
