Exclamation URGENT in need of quick response

Hello,

I am currently the owner of a 2010 Camaro, LS model. 52,800 miles on it.

I am wanting to switch out for a H3 manual.

The deal I've found at this point is a 2006 H3 for 17,000 tax, tags, and title that has 78,500 miles on it.
They are only willing to give me 15,500 for my car which means I will be paying $1,500 to buy an older, more miles car.

Does this make sense or am I being swindled?

Please help!

Here is the trade in kbb information for your camaro. (Kelley Blue Book) I don't know your option but for a base model it seems like their being fair with their offer.. Do what makes you happy and what makes sense financially.

You dont find too many manual transmissions, but I would either wait for on 07 or newer or try to get about $750 off the price. I think you could get a better price than that.

Here is my new experience, I had a 2006 mustang gt premium w/LT, axle back, Flowmaster, FRPP cams and much more.... 43800mi. Traded for an 06 H3 with 80000mi. They gave me 14000 for my car. I still haven't seen the H3, never made it off the lot really after all paper work was done, I went to drive it home and it threw an engine light, mis on #5 they said. That was a week ago. Do your research I really wanted one and may have jumped the gun from what I have read here. Really discouraging.

Burn, that sucks, but at least you know the valves/head will be good with the new, improved version and shouldnt trouble you again.

15,500 doesn't sound right for the camero to me. Although I have never seen a camero in my city for less than $25,000. All considering hummer h3 with 100,000 km run at least $19,000 or above here too. Booming economy here might be the difference, but all in all I think you could get more out of the camero through a private sale.

It does not sound like that good of a deal on either vehicle. 17K is high for an 06 H3 and 15K seems low for the 10 Camaro.

I would let yourself cool off for a day or 2 and really think about it. Plenty of other Manual H3s out there and you may find the exact one you have been looking for at a better price and get a better trade in too.

$15k for a 10 Camaro v6 is about right. Prolly a little low but not much. Most domestic cars lose about half their value in the first 3 years you own them..
