Does anyone know if the Universal Home Remote (UHR) System that is in the Driver's sun visor is powered from the car battery, or maybe some watch batteries? I've got a new driver's side sun visor, but it doesn't have the UHR on it. My current sun visor is damaged and flops around. The door on the mirror is also broken. I was hoping the new one would solve all my issues, but it looks like I may have to piece 2 together to make 1 good one...

 

It's powered by the vehicles 12 volt system.
