Default u-joints

I need to replace a u-joint or two. Advance Auto doesnt have a listing for them. where can I cross reference them or does anyone have any info on some stronger, upgraded u-joints?

They are Spicer and I don't think there is a cross-reference. I believe they are Hummer specific.

NOT what i wanted to hear! haha oh well. these got about 85k to them befor i started noticing some knocking and bumping. i inspected the drive shaft and noticed the center bearing was going bad. the bearing was seperating from the rubber mount. all u joints were tight, no play. but i did notice the one just rear of the center bearing was VERY tight when turned one way and normal the other. so thats prob my culprit right there.

Joe, brain freeze on my part. The yokes are Spicer, I am not sure about the U joints. Let me see what I can find for you.

The u-joints are Spicer5-213x or equivalent so there must be some other u-joints that cross reference to it. It looks like the Neapco 2-4800HD or the Precision 354 cross reference to the Spicer.

When you get time, post up the Napa part number (if different than above) as it may help others in the future.

The NAPA store want open on Sunday. Advance Auto Parts carries the Neapco part number that is listed above. They cross ref. it from the spicer 354 number.

The parts numbers above will allow them to cross reference to the other replacement parts.
