My turn signal started blinking fast so I checked the lights. Sure enough, a tail light isn't blinking - need a new bulb. However, while checking I noticed that the front side marker doesn't blink on either side. It kinda surprised me, are the side markers supposed to blink?

 

YEP! They should blink with signal is on! hmmmmmmmmmmm that's wierd yours don't. Better check them!

 

The side markers on my 10 don't blink. Never noticed on my 06 or 08. Okay guys and girls, like we did on the illumination of the power window controls on the rear doors, what year do you have and do your front side markers blink with the signal light. Could be a model year change like we found with the door switches.

 

'08 Alpha......front side markers don't blink, rears do, only because the side marker is actually the rear bulb showing through side of lens. No illumination on rear window controls.

Need more '07 owners to chime in! Either it's a mid-year running change and/or mine are supposed to blink and don't. I suppose I could just pull a bulb and see if it's a single or double....

 

Here's a thought.......you guys with the '06's and '07's that DO blink, are your Daytime Running Lights the parking lights or dimmed headlights? I wonder if they stopped 'the blink' when they changed over to the dimmed headlights? They made that change mid '07.

 

Just checked mine. It's an '07 and the side markers don't blink.
