Default Transmission Upgrade

I am going to add a Procharger supercharger and want to upgrade my transmission. I am in Colorado between Denver and Colorado Springs. Can anyone recommend someone that can do an upgrade to my transmission around here? or maybe a good transmission already upgraded for purchase?

Certified Transmission in Lincoln Ne. Has high performance rebuilt transmissions, they have dealers all over the midwestern states. I would give them a call. They offer a good extended warranty as well.

Default Found this in my pan

Found this in my current transmission pan during fluid change. No metal in the pan slipping between 2 and 3rd. Anyone know what it is?

2nd to 3rd slip is usually a clutch pack.

Yes, I had it diagnosed and the guy told me the same thing. I am wondering if anyone can suggest a kit with all the best parts to upgrade my transmission. I will have a local guy here in Colorado install the kit. Any recommendations on where to buy the parts and what to buy?

Upgrade to a 4L80 is a whole lot simpler than to a 6L80. 6L80 is a pretty major undertaking as the reluctor wheel, electrical system communication protocols are totally different and from a generation of trucks with a totally different electrical system. I know a few have been done though. Would probably be simpler to just get a 2008 or 2009 H2.

If i remember correct. I believe some on here had went to Monster transmissions and had good things to say about their heavy duty trans kits and prices.

Maybe someone could chime in that has used them.

Haven't heard of these guys, but I guess you'd have to live pretty close to them to go there( though i'd imagine your local guys could do the Same things) Seems like I've noticed my transmission seems like it's slipping a lil' though when I get on it & i'm shifting it manually, though I do have a Tune on it & it makes a WORLD of Difference! BIG Difference

I've been using TransDepot in Florida for a good while now, one of the best warranty's offered on the net.
