The warranty clinched it for me, it's the wife's truck and I'm gone alot so has to be reliable. I also liked what they do to the trannies to bring them up to par. Should last as long as I'm going to keep it.

I just spoke with the shop which going to install
he review the upgrade list nd gave me the ok .
he said even thought is not considered heavy duty is a good upgrade .
he said I dont really need to go full HD. unless I was going ro install a Super charge or race mods

Now the. million dollar question
this tranny comes fully rebuilt and some how upgraded
is still worth it to spend extra to get a full Hd . would I needed? . Taking in consideration I live in a flat place . towing a 5500pnd boat . I dont do offroad . neither thinking in any ttpe of race or Hp mods

what made me go with them instead repair mine is the full rebuilt .. I dont think local shops would get into all that . plus 3 years watranty is a peace of mind
their online reviews are also very good

the shop told me they never heard of them and
recomended jasper but I found Ss more reliable
thx fir the inputs . will update how install goes

Also looked at Jasper but they REALLY want you to use one of their installers. All in all I think SST is a pretty good deal for what you get. We all want to get the best price we can, and while I could have got it done for less money I'm satisfied so far. I really like that they support their trannies nationwide.

so far customer swrvise is outstanding. I emailed then 3 time always got answers in minutes
bought the transmission this morning
they already shipped .

I guess installers gets a commission sale from jasper. as many installers insist in jasper
however the online reviews are not too favorable
also cost me about 400 extra with jasper

I think you will be satisfied. And you won't have to worry about thr tranny anymore, should tow your boat np problem. I have an 08 and had to wait while they rebuilt a 6L80 but it was only three days.

Are they going to use Synthetic ATF in the refill? Remind them to flush your trans cooler.
