Transfer case for sale 2008-2009 h2. 32 spline Broken(see details)

Figured I’d offer this up here first before returning it for a core. Out of my 2008. Broke it trying to do a burn out with the front driveshaft out. Only has front wheel drive now. Looks like it sheared the splines off of the shaft that goes into the rear planetary carrier.

This is the 32 spline version that can be mated to a 6l80 or 4l80. Not the 4l65 in the 03-07 years. This is 2008 only. Remanufactured, the 32 spline variant can be upwards of $4000 and are very hard to come by.

asking $600 pm me.

It’s a good thing it happened honestly. Shows that these full time transfer cases actually are weaker in that they can’t support 100% load on only one side. Glad it happened close to home than out on a trail in the middle of nowhere. Swapped to an np236hd part time case and now I do all the burnouts I want!

Sounds like a good upgrade, If you can now grab a 2500HD IFS and install that and you can UN-couple the front completely and that should make an improvement in fuel economy and drive ability. This would be something I would be interested in doing myself.
I know Predator offers this as an options with a Duramax conversions on the 08/9.

That’ll come sometime in the future. It already drives way better. Unfortunately the mounting for the 2500hd diff is different so it won’t bolt right up. But I’ve seen it done. You basically have to Frankenstein the two half’s of the h2 diff on the driver side and the 2500 axle tube on the passenger side. Then cut the passenger side mount off of it and weld on the one from the old axle tube.

I thought it WAS a 2500 front end?

Whats the interchange vehicle with the one in there, then?

Escalade?
