... so I have a rebuilt one coming to me and should be here tomorrow. I am pulling my dead one now in preparation. I've removed both drive shafts and the TC motor. I removed the skid plate. I have loosened the nuts holding the TC to the trans. I have not removed any of the cross members. I have drained what was left of the fluid from the case. Before I start jerking on it to remove it, is there anything left to take off? I have found the online repair manual that says that is all there is to it but it is for the H3 and not the H3T. It does not appear as if I need to remove either cross member.

If anyone has done this job, any advice would be appreciated. I haven't got the new one in yet so I'm not sure how heavy they are. Is this something I can bench press into place or do I need a transmission jack?
