Default Tranny or tune up?????

Question for all you. I went to dealership and got my tranny kit done. Last month I checked on the tranny cause it felt like it was slipping. I found I had a radiator failure and tranny fluid leaked into the radiator reservor and the tranny was ok still.. Fluid built up in reservor and thats how I found my tranny fluid when open reservor. I looked at tranny and no fluid backed up in. It was clean. I changed radiator and now tranny is pulsating whe I hit and stay around 40 to 45 and then 50 to 55 but it shifts fine... Not sure what it is doing? I think maybe I need a tune up or >? It hasnt had a tune up yet cause it didnt need one. Im at 107000 and I got it at 30000. So can anyone tell me any ideas. Im at a loss and I hope the tranny isnt going on me/???

If your tranny is on its way out, I would seriously consider putting a 4L80 in it. Should of came factory that way. If you tow anything, it will last a hell of a lot longer to.

Default 4l80

Have you managed to put in a 4L80? I have a supercharger in my H2 and have rebuilt the tranny 5 times now. I have every upgrade known for it and keep breaking them b/c of power.

Thanks.

I have not done it....still have a good tranny. Go to ls1tech.com or their sister site performancetrucks.net I believe. The best info for the conversion will be found there. 4l80 series will take so much more abuse. If you have rebuilt your tranny 5 times, you have already put out more than the conversion would of cost.
