Anybody in Socal wanna trade their black grill , black door handles or black mirrors for my chrome ones???

Im trying to blackout my H3..I bought black tail lights, white side markers and clear front signal lamps.

I am about to have chrome grill painted black to match body.

I am also about to have the alloy wheels powder coated to black (only$40 a wheel here in san diego). I also found some cool bead lock snap on rings to put around wheels too.

I am wondering about my door handles. Should I just take them off and have them powder coated when I do wheels? I cant find any black ones. Thats was I was going to do with chrome locking gas cap- just powder coat it with wheels.

I was thinking of having the chrome (plastic) mirrors sprayed black to match the body by the guy who does the grill.

Any advice on any of this would be much appreciated.

 

I'm not in Socal, but I would trade the mirrors and handles from my 08. PM me if you're interested.

It's an old thread but I was hoping maybe somebody would stumble across it like I did.

 

Just wanted to update this a little, even though it's an old thread I am all set to meet up with another member this Sunday to trade my chrome for his black. Thanks all the great info here on the forums I've been able to take off my handles and mirror covers. This is hands down one of the absolute best forums going.
