It's level when a tape measure says it's level. One side may need more turns than another. Read this thread about leveling: https://www.hummerforums.com/m_85049/tm.htm.

There are many, many threads about leveling, torsion bars, etc. that can be found through the Search feature.

And once you have it set and drive it some you may need to adjust it again.

Alrock is right. Most H3's come from the factory sitting crooked so ya need a tape a couple jacks and some wrenches. Measure both front sides and adjust accordingly. If you do too much adjusting REMEMBER you'll need an alinement or your tyres will remind you in a few thousand miles. ALWAYS measure from the center of the wheel to the fender lip for an accurate measurement.

You need an 1 1/16th" socket or wrench, don't need jacks, and a tape measure. Adjust the low side up until level. Drive it for a week or so and check it with the tape again, might still need a tweak. You would not want to crank both T Bar adjusting bolts all the way, and no it would not be level across the front if you did.

More fodder.

Have you ever noticed a "suspension creak" after you adjusted yours? I wonder if it has something to do with the bumpstops?

I mesed with mine and jacked them way up (about 4 turns). After feeling how terrible the ride was I brought them back down to around the factory specs, but I can't seem to get the truck level again. I messure, tweak, drive it, tweak - I even stop on the side of the road when I think just a couple of 1/4 turns will do it. Of course...it doesn't. No matter what I do it won't level out. Any suggestions?

Not sure what your problem is, I cranked mine way more than they said to and it didn't effect moving it up and down again. I know everyone says 2-2 1/2 turns. I don't know why but mine went about 6 turns before I got the same measurements as everyone else. Had it checked out after and all is good.

What is the recommended ride height by the factory specs, anyone know? I know that before I started turning them, the passenger side was almost 3/4 inch higher, but it sat level. I didn't record the strating heights, like a moron.
