Wait until Mike gets back, he apparently has tried the magnet thing so maybe he knows about this as well
I had one for my '99 Isuzu Rodeo LS...........

Well, and my '95 Camaro...........

I can tell you without a doubt....they worked.........at sucking my money down the abyss of worthless crap

They didn't do a darn thing for either vehicle. It's a piece of bent sheet metal. The company that makes those is undergoing a class-action lawsuit right now for false advertising and misleading consumers.

That about says it all.

I'm sorry Mike, I meant that as a joke. Didn't REALLY think that you had one, let alone 2. I'm sorry

The idea "might" (and I do just mean might) work on a TBI car (throttle-body injection),..but no chance on a multi-port car. TBI being where there is what looks like a carburator on top of the engine,..but there are a couple big injectors in it. Found on '80's era Cadilacs, Camaro RS, Caprice Classics, most SUV's, etc...

On a TBI car, the swirling air "could" serve to help atomoze the fuel and also help keep it airborne in the intake manifold.

But in a multi-port car,..the fuel doesn't enter the air-stream until the intake valve. By then,..there's no need and no time. All it would serve to do is cause a small restriction in the airflow.

I tested one in a Toyota MR2 Spyder once. "Seemed" to be a 2 hp loss (acording to a G-Teck Pro meter). I never did any long distance freeway testing to determione any mileage change.
