i dont want any bashing of anyone here...period.

especially dennis, since he is no longer here to defend himself. no matter what people may think of dennis..like him or not, he spent a great deal of time making this forum what it is today, and out of respect, i expect that no one will be bashing him...however, for those of you who are being critical of how things were handled over the past two days, but are then turning around calling others names, that makes you hypocrits.

this isnt a playground in the hood...and every thread isnt going to turn into a name calling war...if people cant learn to move on and play nicely, they will be asked to move on, elsewhere.

 

Some ofus made mistakes, I being one of them. I for one apologized for them but also offered forgiveness for things that were said privately about me and to methat weren't true and based on other people's comments and lies about me. If you don't know someone in person, you shouldn't make false accusations about them and that's all it comes down to, hence my reference to the "STUPID" comment, again, made without knowing any of these people in person.

This is an internet forum and I have made many REAL friends in person because of it, who know me well. I also have many friends on here that I have never met and hope to one day. I'm not saying nobody made mistakes. I only speak for myself when I say I was wrong with some of the thigns I posted, but I'll tell you this, whoever on this forum is going behind my back spreading rumors and lies about my personality in real life should come to me first before telling others things that aren't true.

This goes for anybody in life in my opinion. You don't judge people by other's comments and rumors. Get to know someone before you pass judgement on them, especially when it's someone you have never met in person. I don't know what else to say to anybody to make things right again.

Many of you don't know the story and what happened behind the scenes, so unless you know the facts, just cool it and stop assuming you do. We all want this to pass over and have things back to normal again. This blind guessing and assumptions as to what happened is rediculous and needs to stop before all of us loose our friendships we have, which would be a shame considering the in-person friends I have made from this forum.

Can we all just be friends and stop this circumstantial judgement game? If you don't know the facts, don't judge based on fiction. That's all I can say. Everything else is just guessing and I can tell you so far, your guessing has not been very accurate, and I say this in a NICE way, not a smart one.

I'm trying VERY hard here to make everybody get along again. I just hope you all see that I'm stepping up to the plate here.

Yep, I believe so myself. Unfortunately it's a little difficult to look past it when other folks who had nothing to do with the initial incident keep dragging up and re-lighting the fire we put out earlier this week.

So I will leave this with saying this immature name calling stuff has got to stop. I have no problems with you Little Monster so my request to you is that you don't generate one by firing up the publicburner under yet another pot o' ****. And no, I did not mean that as in you have done it in the past or you had anything to do with the other issues. Point and case being you are compounding the situation with your actions after the fact, is that REALLY necessary?

I am trying to be proffesional about the situation and keep it behind close doors, whih is why I haven't posted in this thread or others until now...but.....

Let this be known...I am not bashing Dennis, I never have and I never will. Second... NO ONE RAN DENNIS OFF!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?!?! We were having a simple disagreement that has happend plenty of times in the past, he decided to lock threads and delte posts that were making him look wrong....that IS A FACT. He also decided to ban us, my guess would be so that he wouldn't have to answer for what HE DID. The problem is that there has been soooo much things that went down that none of the regular members even know about. Most members won't know this, but we have our own room on this forum for moderators and admins to discuss things or to just bitch at each other...that is where that sort of thing IS SUPPOSED to take place.....Dennis decided to ignore this unwritten rule and reprimand me and other mods in public....sorry if you don't agree with this but that was 100% wrong. A very wise man sent me this annalogy in a PM....think of it this way....your a supervisor of a 50 man crew, one of your shop foreman did something that you as supervisor thought was innopropriate (sp?) Do you, 1...take the foreman in question behind closed doors to reprimand him or do you....2...reprimand him in front of the entire crew showing him no respect for all he has done for your company in the past? ANY supervior worth a grain of salt would pick option 1...it's basic common sence. Dennis decided not to do this...NO ONE ELSE FORCED HIM INTO ANYTHING. When I and others questioned him about it he proceeded to not only ignore the fact that he was wrong but instead posted that he would do it again the same way then locked the thread so he couldn't be questioned ...that is an abuse of power and about as classless as some of his supporters claimed I was for calling a troll a moron. These same people who when a troll was insulting them and I stepped in to their defence thanked me in pms and emails. HYPOCRITS!!!! The other situation really has nothing to do with me and is a totally different situation that happened the same day......now why are we to blame when he was the one that decided to start chit with 4 members on the top ten posts list including 3 moderators...all in the same day? This is not a coincidence people....something or someone has been filing Dennis's head with false rumors and made him snap..IMO. Banning us for no reason at all and sending hurtful emails and pm's accusing his so called friends of bieng backstabbers, vendictive,manipulative and other not so nice adjectives was the final nail.

Hopefully this has shed some light on the situation to members that aren't in the know, I was askedtollet this topic die but obviously there are a lot of unaswered questions and things need to be ironed out so that we can all move on. Those of you who are Dennis supporters...thats wonderful, same goes to those members who are supporting me and others.....great. But you all need to know that this started as asimple arguement until we were banned and then ripped in pms and emails.....now if any admin starts banning people for simple arguements..well that wouldn't be much of a forum. I NEVER BASHED OR CALLED DENNIS NAMES except for Sarge one time but that was a joke and he knows that.

Chris, I agree that this should be let to die...but obviosly there are still members that have questions and the only way to mave forward is to discuss it and get things aired out. I don't think we are bashing any member either current or former here...just discussing what transpired...which is healthy IMO. Well...at least most of us aren't bashing anyone.One thing you have to remember is that this was a pretty big thing that happened here and will be part of HF history...theres nothing wrong with discussing it like adults for afew days....just sweeping it under the rug will do nothing but make members harbor ill feelings, we all need an outlet to discuss this. As long as we keep it cival, what's the harm.
