I tried pushing my traction button when I bought my 06 and it doesnt to anything either. I tried holding it down for a few seconds and still nothing. When I took it to the dealer they said it was a bad stich, then replaced it and that didnt do any good so now I have to drop my h3 back off next week and see what they can figure out....

The 2009 H3's with locking front and rear axles use the left space for a stabil-trac button. The old location for the stabil-trac is replaced with the front locker and a rear locker switch is added to the left of that button. There is only one plug in the 2009 upgraded suspension version of the H3.

Ok, I pushed and held the button this morning and my readout showed the light, but it also said stabiltrac off, so I'm assuming it's on by default.

They must have Refined the interiors for the 09-10 model years. the lite switch for my Fog lites is next to the bluetooth switch in the headlite control area, next to the 2 outlets for 12volt accessories is a blank position for an extra switch and then the Stabil-trac switch .

They're talking about the offroad light switch, I think the fog light has always been in the same spot. And yes they changed alittle for 09 when they added the option of a front locker, the front locker button goes where the stab/trac control button used to be & moved that to where 1 of light switchs went.

Yes, if you buy the complete light packages (roof marker, roof offroad, or grill offroad) the switches and wiring come with them.

I have an 06 H3. My stabil-trac button is to the right of my 4X4 low button, past the air bag lights and at the end. If that makes sense. Pretty much follow the right side of the stereo up and the button is there. To take traction control off, I have to hold the button for like at least 5-7 seconds and I see the warning that traction control is off, just above my miles display. If I go into 4 low, traction control automatically goes off and comes back on when I go to 4 wheel or 4 wheel lock. Turning trac control back on after turning off just takes one quick press.

Also what are options as far as lights on the stock brush guard?
