Just because a dealership says jump doesn't mean you say how high, other variables could be a factor? How many miles are on her? Used or new? Base/Adventure/Luxury/adv & lux? And lastly since it has already been decided so to speak, what tires are on it now?

Tell the dealer to mount some new tires on it and call you so you can test drive it again.

Why not just go find another H3 for sale and take it for a test drive so you can compare the differences. Then you will know what it "is" and what it "isn't" suppose to ride like.

I don't know, don't H3's ride OVER pavement irregularities while H2's pound the road flat into submission underneath the vehicle?

Seriously, the H2 has larger wheels and weighs more so you will generally feel less road bumps. Adventure H3's have slightly stiffer shocks and Base H3's have little 32" tires. If you want cushy, get a more highway oriented tire.

Doesn't have to be a V8 for a test drive. They should all ride about the same if you are testing out the suspension ride.

I have had 2 I5' Lux and now an Alpha with the Offroad PKG. The Alpha/Offroad rides a little differently likely because of tire size and shocks. It seems to be a little stiffer. Check your tire pressure FIRST. Between 32 and 35 on the none Adventures/Offroad (265/75/16) and 35-38 on the Offroad/Adventures (285/75/16) seem to give the best ride. Grossly over inflated tires can cause a harsh ride and handling issues.

I agree, you get over 40 and ride deteriorates rapidly. Bring a tire gauge with you.

Good luck!
