Default Tire Squeak

About 2 years ago I had all four tires on my H3 replaced to Goodyear Wrangler A/T 265/75/16. For the last few months I have been hearing a loud squeaking noise when I turn. It does not necessarily have to even be a hard turn. At every oil change the garage inflates them to the recommended amount. Yet, I still get the squeak.

My question is has anyone else had this problem? I know that I have the recommended tire size, but is it possible that the tires are already bad (thereby causing the squeak)? Would I be better off to get new, larger tires?

step one , tire shop, ask them. i rarely hear tires squeal/squeek. im reminded that the surface of the road matters and in parking garages you hear it but i never did in 60000 miles in 2 different h3, with 265/285 stock tires. im not a tire man, some one will show up with more.
oh,you should probably check pressure a little more often.

Are you absolutely sure that it is the tires(rubber) that is squeaking? You can have someone stand outside the hummer while you turn and listen or just bring it in to a shop. It may be something more. You may be out of alignment, or your tires may be worn irregularly.

I am not sure that it is the tires. I've just noticed it has gotten louder and louder. It has been most noticeable when I back out of a parking spot the squeaking is very loud. I assumed that it was the tires. Frankly, I didn't know that an alignment could be the cause. Also, I should have noted that I drive about 2,200 miles per month. So I'm in for an oil change/tires filled every 6 weeks.

I would just have someone look at it. Also, why are you having your oil changed so often? Is the change oil light coming on that often? Your system will tell you when it is tim to change the oil. We put that many miles on our our h3 too and are averaging an oil change between 7 and 9 thousand miles each time. The h3's system is very advanced. Changing your oil at 3000 is not needed unless the light is coming on telling you to change it.
