Default Tire Question

Getting my 315 75 16s on soon and wanted a more aggressive looking tire... I dont think a mud tire suits me right but I like the look of them. Are Duratracs the way to go? or does anybody have suggestions?
Thank You

im runnin 315 duratracs and they are great! they are a mix between all terrain and mud tires. they have an aggressive tread and have great grip when on and offroad. they are quiet when driving on road so you dont get any annoying rumble. and they sling mud very well. i highly recommend them. also they dont wear very fast like other tires. i have over 3k on them and i can barely see any wear so far!

Duratracs or something similar are the way to go if you will be driving through rain and snow. As with any deep tread tire, you must also make a commitment to follow 5k mile tire rotations if you want to keep your truck liveable on the street.

We're at the 25k mile mark on 285 Duratracs and down only about 1/4 of the way through the tread. With 5K rotation schedule performance is still great and noise is only up slightly compared to new.

It definetly seems that duratracs are a Hummer 3 favorite! That seems to be the best overall decision!

What everybody else said. I can't comment on their snow capability yet, but they are great on everthing else. They clean out well and are quiet. Did I mention that they look bada$$ too!!

my only experience is with the base Wranglers, but if you're wanting a more aggressive looking AT tire, check out the Cooper Discoverer ST. Price is decent too. Once my Wranglers need to be replaced I plan on getting the ST's.

STT, not sure if it's still an AT tire though

I just ordered a set of Kumho Road Venture KL78 A/T's in 285/75/16. Should be on by next week! They have a pretty aggressive tread for an AT. The Duratracs are sweet too!

OK so the tire shop called and said the Kumho's would cost me another hundred dollars than they quoted me because they don't have them in the local shop. I'm getting Hankook Dynapro ATm RF10 305 70 16 instead for the same price! Guess I'll have a picture for you with 305/70's soon. The dynapro's have a really cool looking sidewall.

I've had my duratracs for about 13months now and have put 20k km's on them. I have had them in every condition possible and they have performed well. In snow/winter weather this is where they shine and I would not want any other tire on my truck.
Tire wear has been very good as well.

The duratracs look great, but a bit to pricy for what I do. Being that I have the Xmodel with 18's, tires are alot more expensive for me. I had my nitto terra grapplers put on about a week ago, and I couldn't be happier with the ride and everything I read says they perform well.I went with 295/70/18 with is about 34.5 tall I believe. Not nearly as mean looking as the duratracs, but fairly aggressive for a AT, and I'm onroad mostly anyway. Plus they were 300 dollars cheaper and almost two inches taller than the duratracs I priced.
