Default Tire assistance

Hey all, I am new to the forum and have a quick question. Looking to get new tires for the H3X Alpha and can't decide on which size. I have narrowed the search to the Wrangler Duratrac's and am between the 275/65/18 or the 275/70/18. The 275/70/18 have a diameter of 33.2" versus the 275/65/18 which have a 32.1" diameter.

These are probably stupid questions but what visual difference do the two tires have? Does one sit higher than the other? Is the difference between the two noticeable to the naked eye?

I want bigger looking tires and currently have the stock tires on black 18" XD monster rims, so which one is the one to go with that will look best?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Go wtih the 33s (275/70s), you will be glad you did and you won't second guess yourself every time youi step outside and look at your H3.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. Really appreciate the feedback.

What is the noticeable visual difference between the 275/65 and the 275/70's besides being 1" bigger? I know the number is for the aspect ratio but not sure how that applies by just looking at the tire.

Also, when looking at tires on tirerack.com they don't offer the 275/70's for the H3, the only options they give are 265/65 or the optional size of 275/65. Is there a reason for this, and will the 275/70's fit no problem?

Again, thanks for your time and input and I apologize if these are stupid questions.

this link should help you decide Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing

Please post pics of your ride, because I have a H3x and I think I am going to upgrade to the Duratrac 275/70/18 for my factory rims

that tire rack thingy is just a simple sales tool and is not the be all end all of what can and will fit on your vehicle. Don't tell'em it's for an H3. Heck wall-world or Costco won't sell ya tires that didn't come stock on your vehicle either!
