Anyone have the Thule M.O.A.B 690XT roof rack? How does it look? Anyone have pictures? I am thinking of getting one. Can you put lights on it?

 

I am looking at baskets currently too. I don't like the THULE basket because you have to mount it to the roof racks, making it stick up a few inches higher than I like and it doesnt seem very versatile.

I have my eye on a SURCO safari basket. They come in several sizes to meet your exact needs, and they have an accessory to mount directly to the factory tracks. ALSO ... they have light, spare tire, and jack mounting options. For me ... this is a SWEEEEET basket that does everything I would want.

 

I like that basket. I like the things you can do with it but I just don't like the way it looks.

 

When I was looking at racks, I had my eye on the GOBI racks. They had 2 different kinds. A stealth and a regular one. The stealth one wasn't as high as the other one. I think the other one's name was ranger or something. I don't remember. They mount to the factory rails and can come with or without the sunroof opening... I guess that's 4 different kinds then. They also had a regular one with the option to mount the spare up top but that's been getting harder to find as I don't think they make that particular model for the H3 anymore.
