1st thing: Doc rules!

2nd: it appears to me, you f'd something up, including breaking a line, then post here that you are "seasoned" and this forum gave you bad information?

3rd: what is the problem you are having? Whatever it is---> START A NEW THREAD! Then, with the right attitude, you may get some help... GL

I check in every day and read every new post without regard to previous posts so I never notice the older date where it started. what is wrong with that??
the older, worthwhile info is tied in with the new so we get not just a bit but more. whats wrong with that??

I really don't get it. please explain.

btw, I have unhooked my battery dozens of times , added a 2nd, never had a glitch. maybe one unrelated while I was driving .

I do use solid brass connectors.

There's always new info, tsb's, recalls, etc... Many people that look at old threads that are "dug up", find themselves reading information that has been updated with better information, in newer threads, many times since.

Makes sense to me, knowing that there is always, newer, more accurate information available.

if you've never had an old part disintegrate in your hand then you havent done many repairs. my point to my original post was to heighten someones awareness to further potential problems not to show somebody up. im completely novice to threads and such. and with that i apologize sincerely for interrupting your forum i'll be going now

its fine, IF you find what you search for. I have zero luck searching. usually people add new info to old. its really not a big deal. it takes the same space to post either way.
I guess the question is, if the old thread is not to be used why not just delete everything older than?, 12 months 24 months,,3 months? just saying.
