im thinking of buying an H3 i was wondering what packaged did you guys all pick and what pricing is good and if you guys have a good dealer near in california any of you would know? im by chino in CA , let me know what you guys all paid.

 

I got the Lux package, chrome package, sunroof, monsoon stereo w/6 disc in dash CD player for $35,300 total out the door. I purchased mine in Chantilly, VA. I didn't get the adventure package because I think it rides smoother and I don't do any offroading. Yup....I said it....I own a Hummer and I don't go offroad!

Also...when you buy don't get any extras...like the crossbars, side steps, or anything like that because you can get that stuff cheap on ebay or other websites.

 

ah i c, i was thinking getting theluxury package + chrome. Also, i noticed that there is the new H3x out. What is the difference between the two? I know one is 3.8v and the other is 3.5v but i dont really care about performance that much. I just want to know is there a big difference between the exteriors? like can you build the H3 regular and have it turn out almost the same as the H3x.so far the only difference i see is the extra spare tire cover but i dont really care for that.

 

The rims, brushguard, the colored grill, and rear tire cover are the main exterior differences between the H3X and the H3. You can buy a front grill to match the color of your vehicle if you don't like the chrome grill. I think they sell them on ebay for around $200, but don't quote me on that. The H3 has a 3.5L engine and the H3X has the 3.7L engine also not a big difference. The two look similar. Lux Pkg + Chrome is the way to go if you ask me. If you can afford it get the sunroof....it's good to have on those spring days when you want to open all your windows and cruise.

 

Also, what is this thing i hear about gm employee discounts? also do you guys suggest a base package and then buy the chrome items from sites off this site?

 

If you like the chrome package (door handles and mirrors) then get it with the Hummer. The package is only an extra $400 which is probably cheaper than getting the base H3and then adding the chrome handle covers to it after the fact. I don't know anything about the GM Employee Discounts.

I agree! You know the Scion xB is boxy like the Hummer maybe you should consider it.

 

all 07 H3 have the 3.7L
