while driving down the road, the steering will suddenly shift to the left, not much, but enough to make it feel wiggy. i can feel it in the steering wheel, and actually had the tech feel it when he took it out for a test drive, so i know it's not just me. i've already had a new steering gearbox put in about 8-9 months ago, with a new pitman arm, so i doubt those are the problem. otherwise, i have no clue, i just want it back by the weekend, i finally get to go on a club run Saturday - assuming i have the bus back.

 

sorry to hear about the bus...that sucks. Do you have a busted steering stabilizer? That would make it feel wobbly...but I assume you already thought of that so I guess it's something else[&:]

ok...so.....what was wrong?!?!?!

 

tie rods, pitman arm, idler arm, one upper A arm bolt was cracked or loose (depending on which tech i talked to) and stabilizer shock. still waiting on the stabilizer shock, they ordered the wrong one. so if someone wants some worn out fabtech tie rod ends, i've got a pair . . . . . . .
