New guy here ready to pull the trigger on an H2 but I am concerned about mods to the suspension. I already had a black cloud over my head when I bought a 2007 Dodge Ram which was the WORST year for front suspension issues. Before I make a mistake, I was hoping some of you could chime in and let me know if I should buy a particular year, with or without airbags, and so on. I was looking at the Bulletproof lift kits and they mention that their lift kits will not work on some years of the H2 due to the GM leveling system which is non-adjustable. I just don't want to buy the wrong year and get screwed again. Thanks for any help. I appreciate it.

 

They must be referring to the rear air suspension as that would be the only auto leveling feature. Other than air vs coil the suspensions are the same. Torsion bars up front and air/coils in the rear. I am not sure what year the air suspension came out but it was a feature so you can't look by only year, ideally RPO codes to be sure if you are looking online.
