Thanks HummerForums!!
Hello all,
I am new to the Hummer community however,I have been exploring "Hummerforums" for approx. 2 months. Everyone here is Great, I have obtained alot of usefull information and wanted to say Thanks.
I pruchased a 06 H3 (2 months ago) and had the ever popular rear brake noise two weeks later.... researched it here first and then took it to dealership, they fixed it! Grinded the rear rotors down like in the TSB. I advised them that this was only going to be a temporary fix.... (yeah whatever).... Anyways, the DealershipI took them to here in NC was extreamly helpful and nice and I did not get the run around and aloaner.I think alot had to do with it is that I had some knowledge from looking here first. Thank you all again!
Would a non semi-metallic brake pad solve this problem?
Funny thing, well not so funny but...... I get a loaner from the dealership and was advised to return it with the same amount of fuel that was in it when I got it when they get done with my truck.... cool, I can respect that. I left mine with a 1/4 tank of gas and when I got it back and got 5 miles from the dealership on the highway... the fuel light came on!!! What the %$#^........ Called them, they apologized and have it noted to put $20 in gas in my truck on the next service date....sweet.
