Sounds like a beach run... Hwy 87 from Sabine Pass to High Island. I'd be game sometime this spring. Even better would be a North Padre Island run.

I guess I'm the brother that got addopted out.... My 3 was a dealer transfer from Ron Carter.
Last time I was down 87 that direction was from Crystal beach/High Island and it was almost impassible. Lots of broken up concrete chunks from when 87 washed away during hurricane Carla I believe. Is that where you are talking about. I had trouble in the F150 I was in at the time. I'm down for a spring run as well if you want to.
Anyone from Houston area know of any other places around town?

I am down for a run as well. I have been searching for what options I have around Houston and have found Spring Creek Offroad park (Spring, TX), but from what I have read the trails are tight(may be hard for a truck to pass through). Anyone have any experience with this place?

Cool! Had no idea that was there! About 4 miles from my house![:-] I looked at their website, and didn't see any tight trails. It all looked pretty wide open. I'm def. interested if anyone wants to go try it out. $10 isn't bad for an all day pass. I don't think I'll be trying the mud bog though![sm=insomnia.gif]

I finally figured how to use my cell phone camera. Here's some pics of my new ride. Very basic model but it sure does drive great!

Whenever I see other Hummers cruising 'round Houston I wonder if they are forum members.
