Gunn, I appreciate any motherhenly words of wisdom anyone wishes to give me LOL. Some things I know...and some I don't. I know I need to be sure and have a firewall. I know I needed a PW to keep others from signing on to my wireless...but I am not too sure on the router PW thing. I did not purchase a router. Bellsouth gave me a little device that plugs into my USB portto get me wireless downstairs. OK so I guess this acts like a router. When I check networks available, it shows mine and as "secure." Now is there something else I need to do? I did change the default #'s and bits to something else butwith the tech's instruction. I have this sinking feeling I will be needing to purchase a router anyway it looks like to hook up this new wireless all in one printer I got as well. (Ohhh why did I decide I needed to get with the times and consolidate pieces of equipment???[])
