H3 has been sitting for the holiday, took it to store today and noticed temp gauge was riding just over the half way line, it is 97° today but I thought it had been below half way mark? Just curious if I need to change thermostat or this is normal

 

Sounds pretty normal.

 

Mine rides in that same exact spot. Wish it ran cooler, but it's been that way for ever.

 

The dash temp gauge is like an idiot light with a needle, not highly accurate, but if the needle points to red, you know you have a problem. Anything at 3/4 or below is normal for an H3.
