I will be in Murphy, NC from July 21st through the 28th. I plan to ride Tellico a couple of times during that week. Anyone else interested in coming along?

 

Had it not been for the fact that our 10 year anniversary is on the 25th I would've gone in a heart beat. I just don't think she would appreciate getting bounced around in my H2 as an anniversary gift

Looks like some good trails though ... have you put any thought in to going up to Badlands with the Norther IL crew!? Speaking of which, HummerGuy .. got a date for that yet!?!

come to think of it.. what is more romantic than renting a cabin in Murphy for the week with your loved one. You can come with me and the girls can go shopping..

 

You're a lucky man my friend!! I couldn't drag her out offroadin' to save my life ... a day cruisin aroundon the mild wood trails hereis one thing .. selling the idea of going to NC to rent a cabin and "ohh, I'll prolly do some offroading while we're there" .. just not happenin' ... besides ... I think I'm going tofly her up to Niagara if I can get a plane rented ... usually they don't let em go for a week due to classes and such but I'm going to try for maybe an extended weekend, 4 days or so.

 

My girl is the same way. If I asked her to go to go NC for a romantic getaway in a cabin she would be all for it. If I mentioned a little offroading she would see right through it and be like "so it's an offroading trip and not a romantic getaway."

 

Something like that, yes ... and then I'll be spending the next 10 years living it down .. no thanks! LOL!!!

 

What happened to just say a romantic trip PERIOD> Then when you get there the offroading becomes a spir of the moment thingy...man hasn't Dennis tought you guys anything?...

 

What Dennis does not know is that after 10 years of being married to my wife I can't get these things by her without totally giving it away .. I'm simply not that good of a fibber LOL!
Spur of the moment offroad thing!? That's like me taking her somewhere tropical and then go "Ohh look babe, there's a dropzone on this island and I just HAPPENED to have my gear with me" ..
I'm sticking with the Niagara trip on this one .. besides, the look on her face when I'm on short final is priceless .. I don't think she's all that comfortable flying with me ... yet LOL!

 

sounds like a great trip.. although, not as good as tellico.. but.. hey, i guess you will suffer through it..
