CCM, did I miss something or is your front passenger step bent to chit on your alpha?

 

A little fun with some rocks back in September. I posted a link to some photos in the ROTM section (your favorite section ) which has a few close-ups of that mis-hap. We "persuaded" the step back in place with a hammer and bolted it back together. Funny thing was, I brought a wrench to take them off of the rock rails before hitting the trail and then said "Nah, they should be fine" - famous last words ...

 

lol...famous last words...LMAO, ain't that the truth...Before my wedding started the priest pulled me aside and said son this is your last chance if you want to back out..."nah, I should alright"....stupid famous last words.

NY buck season is two weeks after PA, right? I can't remember.

 

ok, so the buck season talk was a different thread....it's called streamlining

 

Actually, depends on where in NY. In the "Southern Zone" which includes the area I hunt in, it started Nov 17th and ends December 9th. Probably won't be able to go in NY again this year.

 

You guys are making me drool thinking about venison while I'm stuck down here in southern mississippi. Since we're being all p.c. here's a couple of pics (the wolverine are from my trappin days in Alaska)

I agree...I forget where it is exactly in alaskabut I saw a show on the outdoor network where they flew in to this island on a chopper and went on a kodiak bear hunt...supposed to have the biggest bear in the world on the island. There were two guides for each hunter..one to guide and glass for bear and one to watch for possible bear attacks...it was a pretty amazing place.
