I have a question for all the experienced h3t folk here

The H3T Bed Extender can either swing out over an open tailgate to provide additional length, or can be removed, flipped-over, and re-attached to swing inward and create a partitioned cargo area. Features a quick-release mechanism for easy removal.

Is there a way to lock the tailgate extender onto the quick release clamp
so no one can remove it

Also when it is attached to the swing gate inward i guess you cannot have a full length bed in the left of right . Is that correct to assume
I have not bought the full length toolbox yet

There is no way to lock it against theft. I suppose you could rig something up, but out of the box, it's not lockable. I just remove mine when I'm not using it.

Yes, you will lose bed length with it stored on the inside position. I can shoot some pictures if you want.
