Anyone here change a bulb on your tail lights? I got the removal of the two screws after your open the gate...but then...????

 

Pull gently there are 2 pressure locks on two studs, my i did the passanger side taillight first, and broke one, but my dealer Hummer of Buffalo, replaced them under warranty without a question, after you take the screws out, pull straight out, towards back, dont wiggle because they will break, the left side is tricky have someone hold the door at about 45 degree angle, i took mine off to put tail light guards on,

yea they are a biach to do. I would also reccomend waiting for warmer weather or storing it in a heated garage overnight before attempting this. the plastic tabs are not strong at all and the cold weather makes em real real brittle!

 

mine were very easy , just popped right off, but on the door hinge side i had to close the door after removing the screws to get it off easily
