Default Tactical Tire Cover?

Hello All,
&nbsp\\;
I may possibly need a tire cover replacement as I let my garage door down on my existing cover and scuffed it up a bit.&nbsp\\; How much do they generally cost at the dealer and does anyone have a part number?&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Thanks

It lists for about $1200 - yes, $1200 - from the dealer. I PMed GMpartsdude here on this forum to inquire about replacing my standard cover with a Tactical cover and he offered it to me at a deep discount as a favor (he is an authorized GM parts dealer) but it was still several hundred $.

At those prices, you might want to learn to live wth the scuffs or paint yours like I did my standard stock cover.

That's one reason I took mine off and put it up. Save it for resale, plus I just think the truck looks better with a "naked" tire back there.

They aren't cheap, I really don't understand why they cost so much. You can almost get a Hard painted tire cover cheaper than the Tactical cover.

No tire cover - one less thing to pay for, one less thing to maintain.

Stolen? Wow, that sucks!

I wonder if there's a service that repairs hard platics like the tactical covers? It has about 3 deeps gashes on the top portion of the cover.
