Well seems like my compressor is gone per the dealer. Had the rear sag couple of wks ago. Thought it may have just needed replacement bags. but dealer has finally come back with looks to be the compressor will need to be replaced as well.

Have told him if it was compressor I would just go with springs.

What exactly do I need?? 2 springs and what else? Will the Service Suspension Light still show on startup and is it just a matter of toggling through it?

Seems I have to provide my dealer some direction. Thx guys...

 

google the conversion kit, its springs, shocks and some have the spring insulators, if you disconnect the harness etc attached to the pumps and disconnect relay you wont get service air suspension warning, disconnected battery for 5 minutes after disconnecting all the relays and wires to reset and get rid of service air suspension warning, also theres a lot of detailed info on this subject if you google it

 

TY...finally got her back this am. Just went with coils and insulators. Dealer had her so long I finally just said get me two springs and the insulators. I have the error msh at startup but for now will just toggle thru it, no big deal. Ride height seems the usual, may be a little bouncier than the air, not sure as I have not driven in about 4 wks. Verry Happy with the end result. Also had the rear electric locking hatch mechanism replaced.

 

I like the air suspension but it is usually cheaper to go to the springs.
