I just had the exhaust manifold replaced due to being cracked and leaking exhaust, plus the exhaust manifold bolt was broken. The repair cost was over $700!! I believe the catalyticconverter and manifold are a one piece item?? I was told this was common on these 5 cylinder engines, just curious how many other people have experienced this issue.
Mine only had 43,000 miles on it and had been leaking for a while.

 

If the cat was involved it should be warrantied upto 80,000 miles perhaps by law
