Hey all.. I have searched threads and could not find any definitive go or no go for super chips... any one have any real world experience with the product... the claims are nice and the product seems simple to use.... but I would like to hear from people that have tested the product and could provide results

I had a Superchip on an 04' MazdaRX8. I dyno'd after word and had absolutely no gains in HP. Think my torque number went up 4 it so foot pounds. RX8's are hard to get gain out of though. I have no faith in Superchips because of it though.

 

ok so had the superchips flashpaq work done today (set to fuel economy)just bought the H2 so I do not have a base line but the on board computer says 14.2 mpg thats a mix of highway and round town 2004 h2 124K mileage.... trip was about 20 miles hwy and 30 round town50 total I know not a great test but a start...any input? also no other mods all stock

Kickyou2 thanks for the reply thats what Im looking for....lucky my buddy owns the shop so I will try diff settings and reset back to factory if no diff will give it back!

 

So my take is save your money unless you are doing all highway driving I played with the programmer went thru diffrent modes seems to change shift points but in the end stock feels fine for around town... this beast is just too heavy...

I've always wondered about those so-called superchips too, but I've NEVER seen one that actually does anything at all. You always hear from other guys that put them on their vehicle & they say they gained 35-50 hp but NO PROOF! I don't see how these advertisers can promote that they add this much more hp. jmo!
