Default sunroof wind deflector rattling

Any suggestions on how to fix the wind deflector from rattling? It's making me crazy. I've seen some comments where you can glue it down but I was kind of hesitant on that.

Are you sure its the deflector? I thought that was my problem, but it turned out to be the actual glass for the sun roof. The motor wasn't aligned properly and it was causing the glass to vibrate. The only way I figured it out was that I happened to push up on the glass while driving and the rattling stopped...

Just a suggestion before you glue something and it ends up being something else.

Best of luck getting it fixed

I agree with mgurgone my sunroof does the same thing but I didn't notice it till my wind deflector blew off on the highway which I noticed rattling a couple days before

I'm sure its the deflector. If I hold onto it the rattling stops. Thanks for the feedback though.

Mine was rattling and the dealer replaced it. They are held on with an adhesive strip.

The wind deflector should be held on with 2 screws AND the addhesive tape. You can ask the dealer for the brackets and screws without having to replace the entire deflector. If that doesn't stop the rattle then it's probably the trim around the windshield.

I was able to fix it. To my surprise just tightening the screws did the trick! I'm not ever that lucky!

My sunroof rattles on bumpy roads on cold days. How did anyone fix the rattle?
