Ours opens all the way when you just push the button and don't hold it. (I think that's right) Wife has it up town right now, will double check when she gets back.
You let her DRIVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:@][8D]

My H2 will not express open.....wherever I stop holding the button, the sunroof will stop. The manual says it does that to......so I guess each year was different in the operation of the sunroofs

Here's what the manual says:
First open stop: To open the sunroof and sunshade,
press the rear of the switch until the sunroof reaches
the first open stop then release the switch. For more
information on using the sunshade, see “Sunshade
Operation†later in this section.
• Second open stop: To open the sunroof further,
press the rear of the switch until the sunroof reaches
the second open stop then release the switch.

Fully open: To open the sunroof completely, press
and hold the rear of the switch until the sunroof
opens completely.
• Closed: To close the sunroof, press the front of the
switch until the sunroof reaches the desired position
or until it is fully closed and stops on its own.
• Vent: The vent position allows the rear of the sunroof
to be opened and tilted upward. With the sunroof in
the fully closed position, press and hold the front of
the switch until the sunroof reaches the desired vent
position or until it stops moving. To close the sunroof
from the vent position, press and hold the rear of the
switch until the sunroof is fully closed

My H2 didn't have a sunroof.
So they didn't just make one without a sunroof.

My 05 was the same way, had to hold the button. My 06 is great with the express open. But still, that "first stop" drives me crazy,[:@] I want it open all the way dammit!!!

Good luck Guinness. I haven't heard too many happy stories on the after market sunroofs.
