I work at a military installation, and in the morning when it's pitch black they frown on having your headlights on when approaching the gate.
Is there any way to turn on "just" the fog lights without the headlights ?

Mark the turn switch to the left of the steering wheel controls the lights. The red circle indicates the fog light on/off button. The fogs will come on in conjunction with the headlights in low light conditions, i.e. night and early morning. If you turn the dial to the right that will be for the running/marker lights... if the fog lights are already selected they will stay on with the running lights, if they are not press the button and they will come on. The next position to the right (clockwise) is for all the lights to remain on irregardless of light conditions. The position counter clockwise from auto is to turn all the lights including markers and tailights off.

 

Yep, turn the dial to the right once and then press the fog button and the fogs will just come on with the side markers.
