Hey guys, yesterday randomly when I turned on my car I would get Check CD and then a whole bunch of chinese symbols above it in yellow. I wouldnt be abel to use any of the functionality or even turn off the system. I would have to take out my keys put them back in and start it up for it to work again. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and the solution. It doesn't happen every time, but it happened 3 times yesterday. Thanks in advance.

I've only had one slight issue with my nav once. It didn't involve any asian characters though.. however I'd be open to having several hot asain chicks pouring out of the nav unit upon start up..

Mine went blank or something (don't remember the exact thing that happened) on start up once.. but I just opened the front of the unit up, and removed & then re-inserted the nav dvd and it worked fine after that... and has since then. I'd suggest just dong that first, as it may save you a trip to the dealer. If it continues to be an issue, then take it in.
