I couldn't find a good answer to this question elsewhere, so I thought I'd ask the experts. I have an '03 H2 that has a factory radio without a navigation system. I am purchasing a radio from an '06 that DOES have the navigation. My question is, will I have any problems with this? I would assume that the wiring harness would be the same, but I can't be sure. Thanks for your help!

 

The 2006 radio with nav will fit right in and plug right in. You will need to purcahse a navagation antenna from your dealer and have it installed in the dash and also purchase a new nave disc if you dont have one now. You will need to take the Hummer to your dealers service dept after to have the radio flashed with the Hummer's vin number so it will work with the rest of the computers on board. It a little bit of foot work but all should be working fine in the end. You should also search this forum for other threads on this topic, I am sure it have been talked about many times before. I had an 06 unit available to me. seller said he'd put it in, if it didn't fit, no $$ out of my pocket.

Plugs were completely different on my 04.
