Sorry if this was duplicated. I submitted but couldn't find it anywhere.

Here is the issue: I bought steb bars from a garage. He took it off an old car and added it to mine. While cleaning the car I found the letter (L) right above (made in canada) which states Left side. It was written on both of them. Meaning both sides are left sides.

While checking online I found some people selling both left sides, or both right sides, rarely found people who has both correct, meaning there are other people who has the same issue as mine.

They are installed fine however, when you check closely you can feel that indeed one of them needs to be flipped somehow. Is this normal? Does it sometimes come like this from the factory?

I mean is it normal or am I overreacting?

Can anyone check his and let us know? I mean the OEM ones not aftermarket ones. The original ones.

Does it sometimes come like this on the cars? Or is it a mistake? And if a mistake why many people have the same mistake. I found someone selling his, while checking closely both were right sided!
