Default Steering wheel will not lock when key is in off position

Anyone experience this type of problem before?

The pass lock security light keeps blinking. It is a half lock/half vehicle symbol

We have owned 6 of the H3/H3Ts and none of them had a steering wheel lock.

Passkey is a security feature. Use the SEARCH function. Plenty of info on that subject here.

thanks. Its my mothers vehicle, she told me the steering wheel was not locking when she turned off key. It could still move.

I just asked her again, the steering wheel definitaley used to lock when key was turned off.
Now it doers not lock with key off and the passlock security light blinks.
She does not have any problems with it starting.

According to my mother , the steering wheel would lock when key was in off position. But since it stopped locking the car/lock symbol keeps flashing.

mmmmmm......according the my Owner's Manual (pg 2-18), the Hummer H3 DOES have a steering lock IF the vehicle has a manual transmission.
