Probably a dumb question, but I'm not very familiar with the H2 engine, or any engine for that matter.

I tried to start my H2 this morning and it would even begin to turn over. All lights and electronics seem to work fine and it still won't do anything when I try and jump it off. I've read it could be the starter and that tapping it could help it turn over. It has been parked for 9 days and this is the first time anything like this has happened.


I've searched the internet over and all I can find are pictures of the starter, and not a real specific place to look.

found it. tapping it did the trick. So now I guess it's time to go get it replaced.

 

on the new style starters if you tap on it , you will break the internal parts . so dont wait to long to get it replaced or it will strand you someplace . mike

I have found that tapping the starter has never worked for me at all.

 

I live in NC.

It was amazing how light I tapped it to get it to crank.

Can anyone recommend a good brand to buy?
