Hi everyone,

We had our 2006/H3 windows re-tinted today, when we went to pick up the truck and the on-star keeps talking, the installer said all he did was un-hook the wire connector from the mirror, removed the mirror and installed the new tint and replace the mirror and re -connected the wire juction to the back of the mirror....

I tried hitting the blue button and phone buttons, it keeps saying (How can i help you) over the radio for hands free calling??????

If you talk, it responds and then shuts off and starts over again.........

Anyway to reset onstar?????, i was thinking of removing the battery cable and putting it back on and see if it would reset its self...........it only works with the key in (On position)

We have Never used it before.............and cant seem to shut it up now.....

any Ideas,Thanks..............Rick....

 

If you don't pay/use the system, pull the INFO fuse in the engine bay fuse panel. I did.
